Road Safety Package

Content:

The Road Safety Package will introduce you to some of the basic vocabularly associated with teaching the basics of road safety (organised in topic groups rather than stages) to help you communicate using Makaton. This workshop was put together with the KCC Road Safety Team in 2019

We will use games, songs and activities to develop your use of these words in order to put together short phrases and hold simple conversations.

Duration:

The Workshop lasts for half a day (3 hours).

Entry Criteria:

Participants do not need any prior knowledge of Makaton as this is an introductory workshop.

Study Materials:

You will receive copies of the signs and powerpoint slides used in the workshop and a certificate of attendance.

Cost:

The cost is £50 per person or £300 for a group of up to 20 people
